The University Library of Tübingen has been using BCS-2 and the C-3 Plus module for four years for the indexing of journal articles. Following the further development of the programme in a joint project, it is now also possible to index articles from festive, congress and thematic publications (collective works) conveniently at article level. An important feature is the ability to link directly to the author norm data of the GND during indexing.
The indexing includes both current print journals and newly acquired collective works as well as a systematic, retrospective indexing of collective works and journals.
In this way, more than 52,000 articles have already been indexed in recent years (as of May 2021). Here you can take a look at the “imwa” articles: https://ixtheo.de/Search/Results?lookfor=rs%3Aimwa&type=AllFields&botprotect=

On 7.12.2020, the SLSP project in Switzerland switched from Aleph to Alma for all participating libraries. Since then, the document delivery of the Swiss MyBib customers has also been connected to Alma via RESTful API.

Five large university (ZB Zuerich and UB Basel among them) and scientific libraries in German-speaking Switzerland and the Cooperative Storage Library in Büron were able to continue offering their services seamlessly. Despite the lockdown, the supply of information remained and remains secure.

For the continuous and largely automated workflow from retrieval to scanning to delivery, all scanning workstations are uniformly equipped with BCS-2 Office and scanners from the Bookeye family.

After the ZBW Leibniz Information Centre for Economics Hamburg/Kiel in 2014 and the Central and Regional Library Berlin (ZLB) in 2019, one of our MyBib eDoc customers has once again become Library of the Year. Congratulations! We are pleased to make a small contribution to ensuring that core library services such as document delivery and interlibrary loans for students, professors, researchers and industrial customers are processed quickly, reliably and largely automatically. In times of social distance and online teaching, this service is more up-to-date than ever.
