ImageWare develops solutions for digitization and preservation of cultural assets
Since the company's foundation in 1995, the ImageWare software and system portfolio has been continuously expanded providing software solutions for the creation, administration and delivery of digitized media.
The workflow system MyBib eDocŪ is the heart of these software solutions, it sets standards for mass-digitization processes, electronic document delivery systems and for catalogue enrichment projects.
Important component of the MyBib eDocŪ workflow processes is the software BCS-2Ū which is used for the digitization, post-processing and electronic publishing of books, journals and plans. Via a uniform user interface different scanner types, digital copy systems and digital cameras can be controlled. The results can be transferred seamlessly into the workflow system MyBib eDocŪ or the electronic reading room MyBib eLŪ.
The MyBib eLŪ, a presentation platform for digital copies and full-texts, possesses a variety of authentication and authorization processes and permits a legal access to (text)books, journals, contracts, plans and other sensitive documents.
C-3 is used for indexing journals and periodicals. Combined with BCS-2Ū, C-3 is a single-user solution, used with MyBib eDocŪ it becomes a multi-user solution.
With the ImageWare solutions accumulated information can be shared by libraries, institutes, industries and research throughout the world.
