Overhead Scanner
Overhead scanners preserve the original condition of valuable books, delicate or historical documents. The documents are placed on the scanning surface. The subsequent overhead digitisation process eliminates the need to turn over the documents or press then onto the scanning surface. One benefit of the overhead scanner compared with flatbed and feed-through scanners is that they minimise document restoration, repair and replacement costs.
