Book Scanner
Book scanners are used to digitise documents - especially books - from a birds-eye perspective. Overhead scanners preserve the original condition of valuable historical books and delicate documents. Additional optional book retainers protect the book backs. Book scanners deliver various electronic output formats and provide further application or processing options. There are different book scanner models which can digitise originals of up to A1 format as bi-tonal, grey scale or colour scans. Book scanners in combination with book cradles can digitise books with spines of up to 35 cm. The use of book scanners minimises restoration, repair and new purchase costs.
