BCS-2® Scanning & Capturing Software
The BCS-2® capturing software is a scan client which supports nearly all scanners as well as multiple other digital reproduction systems.
BCS-2® allows for an integration of scan systems into PC networks running a Windows platform as well as with electronic document delivery systems and web publishing. With the connection to MAPI capable mail clients such as Microsoft Outlook/Exchange or Lotus Notes, scanned documents can be mailed or faxed directly from BCS-2®.
The optional Web Publisher module further grants the possibility for quick and cost optimized delivery of scanned documents via an FTP server. In combination with the PDF module, documents can be distributed within seconds or made available online right after scanning. Additionally, the optional IndexSuite allows for the individual capture of meta data along with the option to export adjusted scanned documents with the ExportSuite module, for example for use with third party systems.
The software is fine-tuned for the scanning of books, magazines and bound volumes, for example with its functionalities to separately select the left or right sides of a page or automatic page-splitting after scanning.
