The Technical University of Munich (TUM) is one of the three first leading German universities
TUM has 9 branch libraries at different locations
Until 2007, the library used different delivery components (DokumenTUM, Medea3, subito) and different scanners/ book scanners (Bookeye® Buchscanner, Minolta, HP)
Objective: use of a document delivery system that unites all three components and use/integration of existing hardware, including 9 Bookeye® book scanners
Decision to use the web-based document delivery system, MyBib eDoc®
MyBib eDoc® combines all three services in one single interface (scanning, administration and delivery)
