- Unique collection of church records in Germany
- The oldest part of the church record collection (approx. 4,200) were scanned for personal data research purposes
- Use of a Bookeye® 3 colour book scanner
- There are 30 reading stations for genealogists
- Approx. 50% of the archive stock had been digitised by 2007
- Approx. 350,000 digital pages of church book records are available to the archive's visitors
- Planned conclusion of the project: approx. 2012
