ImageWare presents Bookeye® and ScanRobot® book scanners
ImageWare book scanners at the German Librarians Day 2009
Bonn-based ImageWare Components GmbH will be presenting Bookeye® and ScanRobot® from its range of book scanners.
Not only does ImageWare manufacture book scanners, it has also been involved in central mass digitisation, long-term archiving and cultural artefact storage projects for many years now. These projects use the very latest software developments.
In Erfurt, the following software products will be demonstrated:
- BCS-2® scanning software for book, overhead, flatbed, continuous and microfilm scanners
- C-3 software for indexing magazine and consecutive collected edition content
- MyBib eDoc® web-based document delivery system
"Automatic OCR processes for SSG online content services:
project reports on the use of C-3 at the Ibero-American Institute in Berlin and at the Bavarian State Library in Munich" is the subject of a separate presentation at Librarians Day, featuring guest speakers from both institutes.
