"We're expecting the majority of our trade visitors to be interested in mass digitisation projects, long-term archiving and electronic document delivery services for libraries," said CEO Rüdiger Klepsch. . "Last year's CeBIT was a very successful fair for us and, based on the feedback that we received in 2008, we're focusing this year's presentation on customised solutions."
ImageWare will be demonstrating various Bookeye® book scanner models at this year's CeBIT. All of them come with BCS-2® scanning software. These scanners can digitise historic books, coloured maps and bound or stapled originals in sizes up to A1 by overhead scanning. This method of digitisation causes no damage to the documents however delicate they are and it is the preferred choice of libraries and scanning service providers for long-term archiving and electronic document delivery.
As national and international Treventus distribution partner, ImageWare is presenting ScanRobot®, currently the most innovative fully-automated scanning solution. This scanning robot has already been used in many mass digitisation projects of international acclaim, such as the mass digitisation project at the Bavarian State Library. It is the first project of its kind to scan 16th century books on a touch-free basis.
All products are distinguished by their outstanding scan quality, scanning speed, user friendliness and ergonomics.
